About Us
The MADE Men organization is a prestigious organization, chartered on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University, founded by four honorable men, Larry Overton, Devonte Brown, Richard Pugh, and Shaquell Windly on August 26, 2013. The visionary founders of The MADE Men organization strive to mentor and cultivate young adult males to develop the perseverance of Education, leadership, and manhood. We execute this by using the effective methods of leading by example and learning by doing. These principals and ideals later became the official mission of the organization. The Southeastern House of MADE Men makes up the longest and largest Non-Greek African American male organization on Southeastern’s campus and preforms based on purpose. Representatives of The MADE Men organization work to develop personal and professional skills, preparing themselves for post collegiate endeavors. Pressing through course work and personal development the Representatives of MADE Men have become pillars in the community and other campus organizations. We are proud to say our organization will continue to grow and instill excellence into all those we encounter.
